Location: Paducah, KY

Job Title:
Sr. Production (Process) Engineer

Salary:
up to $125K/yr. base

Requirements:
B.S. Chemical Engineering ONLY; 10-20 years of experience out of some kind of hazardous chemicals. This person could be out of specialty chemicals, refining, ag chemicals, caustic, etc, as long as it is a PSM-regulated plant. This person must have extensive experience doing PHA reviews and ideally experience leading them. This person also must have extensive day-to-day in-plant experience including process optimization. This person must have experience generating P&IDs and PFDs. The ideal candidate would have done complete design through installation of projects. A huge plus would be powders and/or solids handling.

Job Description:
This engineer will be based at a batch & continuous chemical plant producing high-purity products using reactors, extensive powders handling, drying, and some distillation. This person's primary objective is to optimize existing processes and conduct day-to-day support of the operating unit. According to the hiring manager, this person will have plenty of work to do from day 1. This engineer will do statistical analysis, review operator procedures, lead PSM teams, specify new equipment, coordinate with project engineers and be the line of continuity for most capital projects. Growth potential and expectations for this job is an eventual move into production/plant management. Relocation will include: realtors fees, closing costs, temporary living and move goods. The parent company is an international specialty chemicals company with facilities around the world.

Location: Houston, TX

Job Title: Sr. Process Engineer - Oil & Gas Pipeline

Salary:
up to $115K/yr. Base + Relocation

The Senior Field Process Engineer provides process engineering and technical support for the operation of plants and pipelines in the Houston region.  Ensures that facility upgrades and changes are designed and constructed in accordance with the Company's Engineering guidelines and Specifications, Industry Codes & Standards, and Regulatory Agency requirements while also meeting functionality and performance requirements.  In addition, the Engineer will provide process designs which will contribute to cost saving enhancements that will significantly improve the efficiency and capacity of the plants and/or reduce the operational costs.

Qualifications:
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering is required.
- Candidate must have 10 years of plant experience as a process engineer, preferably out of a large scale continuous process utilizing distillation/fractionation. Refining, petrochems, olefins, light hydrocarbons, acids or gas processing all good. IOleflex, API Standards, OSHA 1910.119 (PSM), Pipelines. Underground Storage is a plus.
- Significant time spent with consulting engineering companies will not count towards the 10 year minimum.
- Proficiency in basic PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Process modeling software such as Hysys or equivalent.
- Must be willing and able to travel 10% with minimal overnights.
- Ability to handle multiple fast-paced projects with constantly changing priorities and scope.
- Must be detailed oriented.

Duties:
-The Process Engineer will be assigned to specific production units and pipelines to provide support to Operations, Maintenance, Commercial, and Distribution.  The Engineer will monitor the key performance indicators of the plant ensuring that it is operating efficiently and will provide technical expertise and scope developments for expansion and improvement project at the plant.  The Engineer will also be the technical liaison between the plant and all outside services.  The position  is also responsible for the following:
- Provide technical support to the Company's Operations, Maintenance, and Commercial departments.
- Perform plant simulations to establish baselines, simulate modifications and estimate performance enhancements to existing plant facilities.
- Perform and check design calculations and equipment sizing.
- Perform Plant Optimization Studies (Surveillance) and monitor key performance indicators to determine if existing assets are performing to expectations.  When opportunities for improvement at identified the Process Engineer will take the lead in their design and implementation to increase efficiency and production while reducing costs.
- Prepare project design scopes in support of capital projects, commercial development, and plant optimization.
- Prepare bid packages for equipment and outside services including engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Participate in reviews of designs prepared by outside engineering contractors, vendors, fabricators, and manufacturers.
- Monitor field construction activities to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
- Prepare project completion reports including construction material inventories and as-built drawings.

Job Title: Process Controls Engineer


Salary: up to $115K/yr. base + relocation

We are currently seeking a Control Engineer to join our team. The Control Engineer will support the control system equipment and configuration on capital projects and day to day operations.

Responsibilities include:
+ Engineering and technical support for process control, instrumentation, and measurement technologies.
+ Provide guidance and support for process control project scope and estimates.
+ Participate in operational training as related to these systems.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
+ A Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minimum of  5 years experience or 10 years equivalent experience implementating process control and related systems in plant and pipeline (gas and liquid) facilities is required
+ Possess knowledge of natural gas processing, fractionation, and pipeline (both liquid and gas), industry standards for documentations, basic and complex regulatory control, loop tuning, and safety systems are required.
+ Configuration experience in various DCS, HMI, and PLC platforms is required.
+ Honeywell Experion experience is a plus.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication on multiple levels.
+ Willing to travel up to 25%.

Job Description:
Visiting the control rooms on a regular basis to assist the operators with any issues with equipment reliability, quality,
etc. Working with operators to identify opportunities for process improvement and driving these ideas to reality. Issuing MOC’s for any changes to the processes and following up on related action items. Assisting in Process Hazard Analysis and driving resulting action items to completion. Ensuring the product quality meets specification by working with R&D and QC to develop  and drive “right the first time” (RFT) processes  Interfacing with Process & Project Engineering as the production representative for area capital projects. Modifying and updating all Process Safety Information (P&ID’s, procedures, etc.) to meet PSM compliance. Supporting area work groups and safety committees. Representing the production area on various improvement teams. Providing training to operators on new processes. Assisting with preparation for annual turnaround work

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of related industry experience and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Looking for experience from the Chemical Process Industry. They will need to have a demonstrated ability to form and successfully lead teams of people from a variety of backgrounds.  They must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus quickly as production demands require.  Attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and a working use of SAP, Synergen, and Lotus Notes Databases are desired.

Company is part of North America's largest midstream energy networks, providing a variety of services, including transportation, gathering, storage, processing, fractionation and terminaling, to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, refined products, liquefied petroleum gases and petrochemicals. 
 
Qualifications
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
•Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
•Prior supervisory experience in a plant environment.
•Minimum of 5 years operating/maintenance/engineering experience in production plant processing, preferably out of a large scale continuous process utilizing distillation/fractionation. Refining, petrochems, olefins, light hydrocarbons, acids or gas processing all good.
•Strong background in mechanical rotating equipment.
•Strong management, planning, organizational and leadership skills.
•Strong communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to interface effectively with regulatory agencies, company contacts, customers and employees.
•Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office applications and in other menu driven programs used by the company.
•Understand budgeting and financial processes.
•Strong problem solving skills. Ability to resolve problems and be able to work with location personnel to resolve the problem.
•Knowledge of various laws governing pipelines and processing facilities including but not limited to OSHA, DOT, EPA, etc.
•Must have ability to work in and effectively supervise and lead in a team environment.

Duties:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing personnel in the safe, efficient and effective operation of company assets, emphasizing reliability, customer satisfaction and business plan execution for achievement of company goals and objectives.  As well as:
•Ensuring full compliance with the Company's standards, procedures, and practices.
•Managing the daily and periodic administrative tasks incidental to operations and maintenance.
•Responsible for the management of the personnel assigned to the area for scheduling of the operations activities within the area.
•Responsible for the safety and regulatory compliance of the operations and maintenance activities within the area and responds to abnormal operations and maintenance incidents.
•Candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations; should have supervisor experience dealing in a diverse work force and in depth knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
